"For sale: baby shoes, never worn." A six worded story made famous by Ernest Hemingway. When I first read it, I didn't understand it. But after some thought and a little explanation from a friend, I found that it tells a sad story.

It all started with a girl named Autumn. She was young and naive. She was a straight A student. Never went to parties, never had a boyfriend. But for some reason, she was feeling rebellious. She was tired of always listening to her parents and being the goody goody. So when she heard that there was a huge party Saturday night, she was all game for it. When her parents asked her where she was going, she told them she wanted to get extra study time in at the library. And off she went to the party. When she first got there, she wasn't sure what to do; she had never attended one of these shindigs before! She spotted one of the girls she knew from her Anatomy class across the room, so she decided to make her way over and hopefully start off a conversation. Before she could get there though, she was stopped by this strikingly handsome boy. He wanted to go upstairs with her. She was flabbergasted because he had never met her before and he has no idea that she has never done anything like this before in her life. But she decided just to go with it; she wanted to be different. Little did she know that this night may be the night that changes her life forever. When they finally got upstairs, her heart was beating so fast and her palms were moist. Was she really doing this? Yes, it was all very real. I'm not going to go into the details of it but they got down and dirty. When Autumn got home that night, she didn't know how to feel. She was flooded with emotions she had never felt before. Did he really like me? What's gonna happen at school on Monday? So many questions running through her mind. A couple weeks later, she realized that she was a week late. She got very nervous. She didn't wanna be another teen statistic! She spent a few days thinking about it and decided to tell her parents. They were very disappointed but they were surprisingly accepting. In fact, her and her mom went baby shopping the very next day! They bought some shoes and some other clothes. Her mom was taking it very well. Autumn decided she should tell the guy that she's pregnant but it would be difficult because she didn't even know his name! But luckily, when she went to school, she ran into him and pulled him aside. He was confused because he didn't remember her because he was so wasted at that party. He couldn't believe what he was hearing; it couldn't be true. It wasn't until she walked away that he decided that she had to die. He was getting a full ride scholarship playing football and he wasn't about to throw that away for some baby. His mind started thinking things he had never thought before...
How does the story end? I bet you can guess how it ends, but choose the ending for yourself. :-)

OMG A WHALE (week 6)
If Snow White was told from a different point of view, it would be told from the perspective of the Prince. He has no name except the Prince. Sad, eh? Anyway, throughout the whole movie of Snow White, the Prince is behind the scenes. He never really comes to life until the end to kiss Snow White. Until then, he just chills out in his palace. He hangs out in his room and catches up on the latest shows; his favorite is Germany Shore (haha!). But for real, sometimes he goes out and fights with other enemies while riding his horse. He also hangs out with Snow White's friend from the beginning of the movie that "died". He didn't really die though. The movie says he did but he went to live with the Prince and he helped him to fall in love with Snow White.

Welcome to the 60's!
OH MY GOSH THIS IS THE BEST BLOG PROMPT EVER.
Anyway, if I could choose another era, I would for sure live in the sixties. It was a simpler time. And everything was cheap! You could buy a full tank of gas for $5! I also liked the fashion. The women knew how to dress. It also seems like the women were more respectful with their bodies. They didn't flaunt the 3 B's: boobs, butt, and belly. Guys will respect you more also if you don't show them the goods. They like a little mystery. Last but most definitely not least, the sixties had some of the best cars. They were really sporty and fast. :-)
